There are lots of different storage ideas for shoes but you seldom see something which is designed purely for kids. I guess the reason for this is that a shoe rack is often viewed as utilitarian piece of furniture and a ‘one size will do for all’ solution is the easiest to make and, ultimately, sell?
I have to admit that a children’s shoe rack isn’t something I’ve thought much about until I came across this rather cute design from Japan.
They come in a range of colours featuring cute animal themes and hold 4 pairs of children’s shoes. Kid’s won’t need any encouragement to use these stands and you’ll no longer have to worry about untidy shoes being left all over the house.
The design is pretty simple and very child-friendly and even toddlers will be able to put their footwear away neatly. The foot shaped holders also have a slight lip on the back so shoes won’t fall off.
The stands are 67 cm tall and are priced at £25 each from aplaceforeverything.co.uk
It’s surprising that there are not that many shoe storage racks designed with kids in mind but here is one alternative.
Kid’s Shoe Bench
